Cost.....

Well i think i might be an idiot... Family and friends need not comment on that statement. As the Lady Hornets ended their season and had their banquet, they also had to turn in their equipment and uniforms and such. Well i wanted Randi's black jersey, she wanted her white, so I told them i would buy them. What was i thinking? Not sure since i found out the cost of them today. The white one is $64 and the black one is $48. Not so sure i want them anymore. I wanted to frame the black one to go on our "wall of fame" which i need more space for. I am out of walls. But I am not sure its worth that much money that i don't have anyway....So i guess i will think it over and decide later. I am not sure I want to see Randi's jersey on anyone else though. It was ordered for her and I think I might just have to do it. Yep.... might just have to do it... No one ever said i was sane...

You know awards are a funny thing. Sometimes you feel a person deserves one, and then sometimes your thinking what the heck. The reason i bring it up is..... District 7-AAA awards were announced this week. Randi was named Defensive Player of the Year. Which is awesome, and I really agree with it.. LOL.. But on the all district awards, i do think some one was left off. Our catcher should have at least gotten honorable mention and she didn't. But there isn't much I or anyone of us parents can do about it... But I wanted it thrown out there... Now with that being said... We found out this weekend that Randi was named Super-Centex Player of the Year by the Waco Tribune Herald. I really think thats awesome. I was disappointed that Randi wasn't an all-state selection, but was really proud for Emma and Megan... Anyway.... I am going to go back and see what pictures i can add to this..

State Semfinal Game...

Okay these are all out of order and its just a few. I have more, but i have been sick the past two days and these are just the ones I made me a collage out of. So tonight I will download the rest and put them on here also... I really wish the girls could have won this game and we played one more, but as a parent I am so, so proud of these girls. Even when they lost they did it with class. I know those 6 seniors will go far in life just by the way they played softball. The good thing is I can see 4 of those girls play some more ball next year. I can't wait... Till then.... I will label these for you... Jessi and Alli after the game.

The Start....

Oh my... This will be a start.. I decided to do this when I got kicked off Facebook at work. Now maybe I can post "some" pictures. Goodness knows I take way to many to post them all. But Lady Hornet fans can come look and see their ladies. Speaking of ladies our six seniors crossed the stage last Friday night. Everyone asked if I cried. The answer was no. I cried when they lost Thursday. That was more upsetting than seeing them walk across the stage. It was really great to see them all in their medals though. I know they all wanted the GOLD, but it was great to see the bronze. They did such an awesome job this year it was great. It is so hard to believe its over. I think I am lost. Well now i am going to try and figure out the picture part of this.
